New a fortnight ago but been struck down with the lurgi.ย

Trek Checkpoint SL5 gen 3. The only size m I could find in the UK. The lurgi gave me time to fit my Roval Terra CL wheels and a Zipp xplr set of bars.ย  Done about 100 km so far. Seems much faster than my Free Ranger or is just new bike joy.

Weeding needs doing. Hedge is poorly shaped. Frame storage needs a pork pie. Nice bike!

I got me one of those in August. Love it.ย  Got me looking forward to office days so I could get an excuse to ride.

Got the choice of a new bike or a cruise for my 70th birthday . Eastern med cruise in April and I somehow wangled this 😁

Some firsts for me.

First Trekย

First SRAM

First electric shiftingย

Front mudguard is the front off a pair I chopped up a while ago.

I am very happy with it. The Free Ranger will now be my gravel only bike while the Checkpoint will be the all road choice. That's the plan ATM anyway.

Very nice looking bike. And rather stealthy.

Think I might put 6 peppperamis in it. Saying that. I had puncture today, first in years, and I was glad of the Dynaplug and co2 cylinder in the tool kit thingy.
