Frame - Commencal Meta HT, and wheels - Crossmax XLS, nabbed from CRC’s BF sale. Parts Sram XO, Guide RSCs, Pike Ultimates, Descendent carbon cranks, Brand X dropper off a previous bike, Spank Vibros off a seller on stw, ugly Nukeproof stem (will be the first thing to go! but is right length) fancy Thomson clamp sat unused in the garage, as were the tyres taken off my , now sold, ebike…
Ooh, those internally routed cables! weren’t too bad actually, but all my hoses and cables from the other bike were too short and had to be replaced. Why route the brake through the frame, madness. and why IS mount brake? who knows…
Anyway, finished just as I’m stuck in the office all week, so will have to wait til the weekend to ride the beast! Hopefully will be as nice as it looks it will be.

Very cool! Enjoy.

IS brake mount is commonly used on steel frames because it's easier / cheaper / lighter. It's the same with Cotic etc.

Nice 👍 I looked at those but went for a Blue Pig frame in the end.
Very, very similar geometry between the two frames in large. The Ragley has a slightly slacker HA...

Cool! This looks slack enough with the 150mm forks. The seem a bit less plush than I expected after upping from 130 to 150mm, so will need some tuning.
