Does anyone know what the snow situation is? Was planning to ride there on Friday!

Cheers

I rang the visitor centre this morning, all clear in the woods, but out the trees very very icy, snow forecast though!

Don';t know what conditions are like but I'm reliably informed it's been sunny in Aberystwyth the last couple of days (I'm also heading that way this weekend)

I took a detour through there this morning.
The trails are fine- little patches of ice in the shade, but nothing much to worry about.
The snow has mostly all gone too.

Thanks, appreciate that, I'm taking a trail centre virgin there tomorrow, so don't want to have a 2 hr each way drive if the syfydrin trail is unridable.

Mark of Zorro and Legburner are completely free of snow and ice. The track round to Hippity Hop[ has some frozen snow and ice as does Hippity Hop itself. Still grippy, but makes you think..... Didn't ride the moorland section but imagine it will be pretty free of snow, but there could be ice in places. So I reckon you'll be ok as there seemed to be a bit of a thaw in places as there was mud on the bike!

Anyway whether you ride the Summit or just the Pendam trail, the wood burner will be going in the VC and there will always be plenty of homemade cake, toasties and anything else you fancy ๐Ÿ™‚

Great to hear beargotsoul. didn't ride there yesterday but did a ride/push/push/ride out in the hills. Still 2-3 foot of snow in places where its blown across and in-filled tracks
