hi all.

riding n lake this weekend and keeping options open but was wondering if anyone had done such route as....

patterdale, hartsop, the knott, high street, mardale lll bell, nan beild (decend south), back up Gatescarth, harter fell, retrace steps to hight street, the knott, cheeky to boredale hause, patterdale.

done a route plan and it come up 6000ft accent.ย  If anyone has done similar, then how much of it is ridable climbing, im good for hike a bike, but other group members wont be too keen if its all day hike? techy is good for all the group.

cheers if there is some responses.

The bits that are a hike (in order):

Hayeswater to The Knott (and the climb to hayeswater if you're not 'keen')

200m of Gatesgarth after the gate (and some of the loose/cobbles earlier if you're still not 'keen')

First 300m of Harter Fell ascent from top of Gatesgarth

Most of Nan Beild to Mardale Ill Bell ascent.

Tons of great riding across the tops and some excellent descents though.
