stupid stupid injury this morning, had a moment and pinballed off the trees down one of our local trails and managed to clout my thumb on something harder than itself - now it wont work, how crap....
that is all, no advice required, opinions offered etc. just wanted to share my annoyance at having an otherwise good ride ruined by something as silly as a buggered thumb.

I thought i'd cracked my thumb crashing my bike, reluctantly went A&E and after x-rays discovered I broke it across the joint and did severe ligament damage, spent the night in hospital with the doc's debating wether to operate or not. Ended up 6 weeks in a cast with the possibility at the time of still having the operation to reattach the ligament if the cast didn't work and another 4 weeks of physio. Still plays up occasionally now 6 years later.
Hope yours heals quick though 🙂
