On Monday, i had the displeasure of riding something about as stupidly uncomfortable and ridiculously ergonomically wrong as i's ever experienced..

Designed to make the rider as aerodynamic as possible all i felt was my knees bashing me in the chest, my shoulders strained from the pressures of forcing my elbows close together and my arse exposed all kinds of abuse as it pointed high in the air...

And how the hell am i meant to brake when tucked into position on those aerobars? the brake levers seem miles away back on those bar end like up swept things, as for changing gear....well lets stick the shifters right out there seemingly beyond reach...Thankfully though, the suppliers of the Ridley, fitted the brakes european style, so when i fancied slowing down on a wet road from about 25mph, the back wheel locked up it wasn't the only thing clamping up out back i can tell you...

As for the carbon ribble i was paid to ride...well it was quite light, pretty responsive and black which was a nice colour..

I really like my over weight fat tyred bike, like it lots..

wrong size maybe, though i didn't even try to set it up a little right...i didn't want to get attached to something looking like the saddle and bars were at the wrong ends
