Looks good. There are a couple of things I've spotted (although nothing major). The Freeride and North Shore banner has a hyperlink red border around it on the 'Book a course' page (when you place the cursor over it), on the other pages it doesn't and there's no hyperlink on it on the road skills and Gallery page.

On the BMX page, should the Mark Atkins title link somewhere?

looks really, really good. Slight typo on the bmx page 'multiple World BMX BMX Champion,'. Like it!

The large white font (impact style) looks a bit ragged to me. It might just be my monitor, but the font doesn't look that smooth (compare it to the menu headings which are images - they look better imo).

very minor note - clicking on the two links on the left - 'making farrah faster' opens up a new window, whilst 'niki's xc skills day' takes you to the page in the same window. got myself a wee bit confuzzled!

I found a problem I'm afraid Jedi - took a quick look at the site but I still can't do those big road gaps and the 15' skinnies!

Ref to snaps - I think this is a perfectly sensible way to get a site tested on different browsers and so-on. If you don't want to join in, then don't. And you can't spell sandwich.

Haven't looked through all of it but straightawy there's a typo on the first page - something about being well known in the freerdie area.

Came across a couple of you clients doing their homework at the Woburn playground this morning.

I was trying out my crosser with muds fitted for next weeks race, and couldn't help but notice how tidy the lines were. Was that you?

Jedi - All seems to be working OK on my browser (IE7) - don't work too well on my Crackberry but that ain't the end of the world.

Nothing that jumps out at me like previous, few minor tweaks but still looking good!

BTW - saw this earlier - looking forward to seeing what the dates are going to be...

Jedi - what's this new "Freerdie World" on http://www.ukbikeskills.co.uk/northshore_training.html. Maybe Freeride world? Though I reckon Free-r-die sums up how I'd get on at Herts shore ๐Ÿ˜‰

sorry but I'm with snaps and skills on this. You keep posting links to your site each week when a little change has been made. Its obvious advertising and it makes it even worse (imho) that it seems to be your mates that are the people mainly replying.

If you're not sure about your website, go to a professional and get them to sort it. It is a business that you're running right?

Have you given any money to STW for the advertising, ie like people do on the classifieds?

the only guy i have met on this thread is bushwacked.
i see stw as my cyberhome as it has been the case for 9yrs or so.
i have answered questions for people, been top forum poster etc...over the years.
i want to ask on here as i value the feedback.

I think you're missing the point.

It doesn't matter if you're a top poster etc. I've been on here since pretty much year dot (under different names: but can give all of them to you if you want to check) and I've never dropped links of any sites that I've worked on.

I'm pretty sure if I looked hard enough as well, that I'd find instances of you complaining (in some way) about SC not so sly advertising and/or the number of times our dear Brant would post up new products looking for "advice". Isnt that what you're doing now? Under the guise of wanting feedback...

Jedi - I would also suggest, if you haven't already, to get something like Google Analytics on your site. It would tell you amongst other things:
Google Analytics

How many times its visited across a day/month/year
What the most popular pages are
How people are getting to the site.

The above is only a very small example, but it would give you some insight into how your site is being used.

In my experience of running a business I wouldn't say this was advertising - more market research and customer feedback - I'm sure some bonafide adverts will be on this site once everything gets sorted.

Maybe I'm slightly biased as I've riden with Jedi a couple of times but in this economic climate are we really going to complain about something like this and not give people a helping hand when starting something from scratch?

Vanilla - what do you do anyway, you're not a web designer are you??

at Bush. Yep I run a web design agency.

What's that got to with it though? I offered free advice on his very first thread and this kind of project is massively too small for us to touch (the website that is, not the business: not trying to belittle the business in anyway). So I'm not saying this to try and get business.

Anyhoo, like the other guys, I'm not going to bump this anymore for Jedi. I wish him all the luck with the actual business.

I like that pretty much everything works even with noscript.

Last time I was doing anything with the web mailto links were considered unwise unless you want to drown in spam, but that may be different now.

Looks good, works well in Firefox, all the links and vids work for me. Only criticism is the white script looks a little blurred (if I'm being hyper critical like, but I can read it fine enough)

Good luck with the venture Jedi, hope it goes well.
