Yes, there's some very temporary cable routing.

What's going on with the stem and bars?

Don't know, just doesn't look right.

What size stem/bars are they?

The stem is 80mm, it's jus a spare I had lying in around, i'll probably change it for something shorter and zero rise (it's 10 degrees). The bars are 700mm. Oversize clamping.

The stem prob looks too long to my eye - I've got a HX1 so it just stands out a bit.

Nice bike though, you'll love it.

Photos of bikes should have the drive side facing you know.

Looks like you could flip the stem, maybe because the seat is low. Can you use the cable stops on the frame with the alfine?

Looks good

Nice - that serves as inspiration for me. My HX1 is awaiting its first build - in winter 96er guise with 440mm pace carbon forks, 29in front wheel and single-speed setup. Going for a racier Fox F120, 2x9 and regular wheels for summer

The seat is higher now, as i say, it'll probably be getting a shorter stem. My short stem is white and that wouldnt look right.

The cable stop positions dont really suit the Alfine (unless I try a different route, but I need different washers for that).
