[#3540213]

I've been longing for a ti hardtail for years, and at long last I now have one! Most parts bought second hand or new-old-stock.

First ride today (just after these photos!) and very happy with the outcome!

Got to love those seatstays!

Flashes of red (pedals, bottom bracket, spoke nipples and also on the grips!)

I guess I could have swept up a few leaves for the photos, but I have a big smile!
Nick

Yeh, the tyres spoil it a bit. As does that fat trail centre warrior saddle. Get a proper saddle like an SLR.

Also, get your dropouts slammed, they're adjustable arent they? They look like they're in the longest setting at the moment.

Love it! Apart from the tyres, pedals and all that Shimano rubbish! ๐Ÿ™‚

Love those frames, though. Ride soooooooo well!

nice indeed. If it's mostly secondhand, how's it all so shiny?

Thanks for all the comments.

I actually like the tyres - a little bit retro, and the grey stripes sort-of go with the markings on the rims! The saddle was a gift from my missus that's spent most of it's life on my Flux and has now been swapped over to the Whyte. I like that too!

Rides great - fantastically flickable in twisty singletrack. I think I'll be having lots of fun on this one...

I'm quite liking the tyres with the xt rims, different, as are the coke bottle curves on the whyte. Lovely

I'm with you on the tyres...think they look quite good!

Rest of the bike looks awesome as well, don't even mind the cowskin saddle, although not a fan of the bent seatpost look..;-)

Not sure where you live but if I'd used tyres like that on my ride today I'd have died. Lots.
