First road build, and I like the old classic bikes, so I built up this Benotto 3500 slx

Love that. How does it ride?

haven't ridden a road bike for years, so it's hard to remember what my old one felt like

You feel very on top of the front wheel, feels nimble

I might take it out for a longer ride in a bit

How long is the stem? Looks a touch short to me. Could be wrong though.

Very nice indeed. I had those challenge tyres for the retro look and they were pants, far too soft and punctured nearly every ride.

Edit; I still have them for piccys

Finding the parts was the hardest part. I just bought the frame then started searching. I think I got the frame in March and just finished it

Scrumtious build!

Frt derailleur cage is too high and you need to put ferrules on your cables - otherwise great.

Oh, and what about a leaf blower? ๐Ÿ˜€

was having problems with front shifting, maybe thats why

ferrules that came with the kit wouldn't fit on the cables
