Well... maybe not quite what you were expecting when you opened the thread eh? 😉 😀

Still awaiting the arrival of the Mojo HD (at least I now have a firm due date, April 4th)... saw this fetching 'bold gold' Mojo for sale on Retrobike and decided to pick it up as an older 'twin' to the modern version (the colours/colour schemes are kind of similar, if you use your imagination 😆 ). Nice 1" IF steel fork was part of the deal, along with the headset, I just needed to supply the brakes, wheels and cranks 🙂
Rides nicely, slightly strange feel to the position (down to the '92 style geometry I think?), very light (haven't got scales, but it feels light 🙂 ). Need to tweak the brake setup, I've got no idea with V's so am just guessing and experimenting to find the right setup... I'll get it right eventually! Hate the tensioner, but until I get around to building up a WI Eno hub, it'll have to do...
Never seen this logo before on an Ibis, anyone know anything about it?

And a couple more pics for the heck of it:

Looking forward to my upcoming '3 Ibi' photo opportunity - Bow ti, Steel Mojo & Mojo HD all in one place - might be a world first surely? 😆 8)
lovely
I do like the hand thingy.
nice colour, more mango than gold though eh?
ibis handjob cable stops were so cool.
a mate had a ibis uncle fester, it was fantastic.
very nice indeed, a bike what looks like a bike should.
VERY nice. Wow.
Post it up on the retrobike forum as well?
V brakes! Sacrilege! Get some Dia-compe cantis on it!
What did you pay out of interest if you don't mind me asking. looks nice. Fancy an old retro jobbie 😉
docrobster I agree V-brakes are sacrilege on a bike like that should have these instead of those orrible v-brakes. I'd also controversially say for a bike of it's generation single speeding it is also sacrilege. Personally if it were me i'd go & try and get a full XTII groupset.

Yeah, not sure why they called it 'old gold' tbh, it's defo more of an orange/mango sort of colour, nice though. Should look good next to the Vitamin P of the Mojo HD 🙂

Might source a decent set of cantis for it, if only to put the Handjob to use, though, the V's are a much nicer set of stoppers!

Nah, old bikes never die, they just lose their gears 🙂
fantastic! 😀
Like it.

Sorry, missed this question. Frame, fork, headset and stem were £350 plus post from Denmark. Not a bad deal at all IMO, I'm happy with it 🙂
Working today, so no inaugural ride round the Surrey Hills, will have to be next weekend, fingers crossed for good weather! 🙂
Perfect 🙂
Another bike??? You'll be catching up to Mamadirt at this rate!!
He's buying for two now. 🙂
really nice build, love the colour combo, and just the fact that its an Ibis.
