Looking nice! Did you notice a difference with the new large air can/boost valve?

Weight wise - no idea, feels slightly heavier than my 456 but not by much. Build is Si's rolling chassis deal with floats, pro 2s on DT500 rims, XT brakes.

Si - can't really tell the difference between the two shocks, but still playing with pressures to find what I like best.

Anyway, scared myself a lot coming back over to Ladybower, it corners really well and just wants to go faster. Definitely a great shiny toy.

darrenm - I have an XCL and the speed I can carry into corners is fantastic other than this moment at the weekend ๐Ÿ™‚

Have fun on your new ride.

Thanks forge197.

Can anyone give me advice on setting up e-type front mechs? the limit screw won't let me push the mech outboard enough for the inner ring, which means I have to adjust this with the cable which has a knock on effect for the middle and outer rings. grrr

I think on my old Stumpjumper (but can't be sure) that it was spacer, e-bracket, BB in that order, which put the front mech further outboard.

Is this how yours is, or is the front mech directly next to the frame?

got a bit of grief for getting it in red from the wife, as she has a bright green meta 4 and says it will clash.

Stumpy01 - It has a 73mm shell so the mech is the only spacer.

When the mech was installed and bolted to the frame did you insert the little spacer between bolt and mech?

slowrider - yes it sure is, last Sunday afternoon, didn't pass a sole.

Si - I didn't, should I? I think the spacer is used if you have a 68mm BB, but I could be wrong

Nice although I'm not convinced about the white forks.

Mine should be here next week, ano blue with the same forks, although they might be getting swapped for some vanilla's straight away. Was supposed to be here a couple of weeks ago but cane creek have been dragging thier heels with the shock, thankfully Si has been a star and agreed to ship it with an RP23 until the coil shock arrives.

re: front mech's, doesn't it have a mount so you can fit a braze on road mech, I've only got the 2 rings and need the bb mount space for a chain guide.

If you don't mind a slight aside, how much do the xcl rolling chassis' go for?

Looks great, what's included in the build kit? Kind of got my heart set on a hemlock, but always liked Chumba's.

XCL build kit should be XCL frame in choice of finshes, Fox Van RLC Qr15, Hope hoops, Thomson stem and seat post, Chumba saddle and lock on grips, however Fox Van's are out of stock so will ship with the Floats for an additional ยฃ100, total ยฃ1799, bargain ๐Ÿ™‚
