How long have I been riding Tuesday nights...ten years or more?
So why for does she gather up all my kit and wash it Tuesday afternoon.
Still the sun might pop out and I might not look such a pillock in my summer kit tonight ๐Ÿ˜

Don't you wash your own kit after you have used it so it's fresh for next time? If you own a tumble dry suggest using that. Given you don't seem to be able to sort your own laundry suggest ask her indoors if you own a tumble dryer.

Maybe she's telling you she wants a tumble dryer? Or she's having an affair. One or the other.

Either she has washed it to ensure that you have clean kit to go out in tonight, so she can have the other fella round, or she has washed it to prevent you going out so she doesn't need to get the other fella round.....

Maybe she wants you home this Tuesday for some other activity?

Do you have any shelves that need putting up?

I can tell you don't buy or wash your own kit. All mine is suitable for the tumble dryer.

Mine is made out of either plastic or wool. It'd either melt or shrink in a dryer. If I put it all in at once it would make a right mess.

You'll be fine. Cycling kit dries really quickly anyway (much quicker than the usual cotton stuff in the wash), and it'll get a blow dry on the first descent anyway (or soaked in the pissing rain on the first climb).
