He is having to have a rest day as his knees are swollen up and very sore, any magic cures or remedeys form the high milage gang are more than welcome so I can forward them onto him.
how can you get points on your licence it does not entitle you to ride a bicycle does it?
Can I get points for jumping red lights or more likely speeding in a 30 zone?
Shame for your mate as it seems a genuine error and he does do a lot of good work for charity
Yes seems very odd to get points... He is on Scottish radio later today, it seems to have really caught the news.
AFAIK you can't. Sounds like idiot officers passing out tickets for non ticketable offences.
time to phone CTC/ BC (actually probably wouldn't bother with BC)
AFAIK - you cant either. Interesting.
Only thing for his knees is ice, tubigrip and keep his feet up - seeing as rest isn't really an option.
you can't get points on your driving licence as it's not a driving offense! A fine yes, points on the licence? nooo!
He is taking 1 day off riding, he is using ice and heat, and anti inflamatory gel... not much else he can do.
