I have older style Deore XT brake setup, dual control with calipers.
I bought a post mount to IS adapter thinking they were IS,but now I think they might actually post mount all along.
What does an IS calliper look like and a post mount caliper?

Measure the distance between the bolt holes.
IS: 51mm
Post mount: 74mm

They came with an adapter fitted,so always presumed IS
