T'other day riding home through the local UNI campus I saw a girl struggling to push her bike along so being a gent and noticing everyone else streaming past I stopped and offered to help. I was in a rush but she was pretty 🙂
Turns out she'd locked it up and when she came back the wheels had been removed in an attempted theft and the chain was completely off, ie not even over the cassette! They'd obv given up and left it in a right mess.
Needless to say that within a minute her bike went from being completely useless to her riding off with a huge smile on her face.
I didn't get her number, but at least its + karma.
What's your latest good deed for the day?
I helped a woman carry a baby in a buggy down some stairs the other day. She looked gob smacked I'd offered to help her.
