Rather please with this bodge. First TT tomorrow hopefully so planned on using the garmin for pacing. Couldn't get the bars close together enough when using the up front garmin mount, and couldn't keep an eye on the garmin when on the stem mount. Used some zip ties (no welding of spoons unfortunately). Will probably be cursing it tomorrow when I lose it down the road.
