Well its been 10 months to get her to this stage, but now she's finished, my go anywhere, do anything beast!

This was her 10 months ago:

Frame: 09 Intense tracer - size L with ISCG tabs
Forks: 2011 Fox 36 Van RC2
Shock: Cane Creek Double Barrel
Wheels/tyres: Industry Nine all-mountains with 2.35 High Roller front and 2.35 SB8/Minion DHF rear
Drivetrain: XTR m970 cranks, Middleburn 36t chainring, E13 xcx, XT cassette, Saint medium cage r-mech & shifter, CK bottom bracket, DX m647 pedals
Stem/Bars: Thomson x4 50mm, Easton Monkeylite DH w ODI ruffians, Hope 1.5 reducer headset
Brakes: Shimano XT with Hope floating rotors
Seatpost/seat: Thomson elite, Velo seat (ugly but oh so comfy), Hope seatclamp

Weighing in at 31 lbs

Any suggestions for further upgrades welcomed ๐Ÿ™‚

Is that 180mm on the front then? How's it handle, ok with the slacker angles?

No granny? I take 'do anything' does not mean go up steep stuff..

Looks more like a freeride lite, or an Alpsy playbike.

SamB - no, its the 160 version. Think the 180's would destroy the handling and make it impossible to get uphill

Reggiegasket - its fine for pedalling uphill without the granny. Did W2 (45km) on it in 3.5 hours so its pretty quick when pushed.

Jedi: the kitchen extension has been built around it! Nose on the end of the face some folk.

Agree that both a dropper seatpost & ti spring would be the next things

What rear tyre are you running?

It is a fab looking bike overall; I'm sure you'll be having a lot of fun! I think the 1x9 or 1x10 is definitely the way forward but what size front ring is that, only it looks quite a bit bigger than the 32t I run!

Geetee - its a Kenda small block 8 on the rear and 36t ring on the front.
