I think it'd help to have a drop-down list for the skills lists.
This is because once you're looking at say basic 1 or whatever, you have to click back before you can look through the others for comparison, so you can't flick between the courses quickly for that purpose...
maybe...

Solamanda is right about the first picture.
It would certainly scare alot of my mtbing girlie friends off, who are nervous riders wanting to just try normal stuff.

I think everything else is laid out well.

This is you chance to share with everyone your fantastic skills. I think you will do really well.

a lot of the good feedback on here is from floks that know you.
i dont and while it is a nice site there is not nearly enough stuff about who you are as riders to make me want to sign up on a course(from an MTB perspective anyway)in fact you allmost say that you have not been riding mountain bikes that long.
Most groups of local groups of riders that i have ridden with over the years would have at least one handy rider that had achieved stuff on a bike as good as the stuff you list so its kind of out there anyway.
Had to think twice about posting as i am being neg for all to see but you did ask.i wouldnt book and thats the reason.

Please ignore the chaps who say it looks good - it doesn't.

You wouldn't ask a web designer to teach you how to flip-whip would you?

Pay someone to do it properly for you. It will be worth it in the long run.

Just remember to keep it simple and REMEMBER WHO YOUR MARKET IS!

Good luck.

Strongly disagree with Euro. Site looks good in my opinion. Clean, simple, gets the info across. Only niggle for me is the big fonts - I do find the blockiness a bit amateurish. That's pretty easily sorted though.

as much as required. thats what i mean as trail center obstacles as its limited hieght/width wise etc so i will teach on that level of stuff .some riders only want small ladder drops etc...

Cool, had an interesting conversation about FC best practice about that kind of structure.....
Fancy coming down to see you, the Bob and Ally had a blast and it'd be good to ride somewhere new!

about the height of stuff and how its compromised, high enough to fall off and hurt yourself but not high enough to prep for a fallvresulting in lower limb injuries

I like the look of the site personally (and seems fine in Chrome for me).

I'm still confused on the location thing though, the site implies the course is held wherever the student wants it but on this thread you mention its in Hertfordshire? Sounded like a USP with the "at your convenience" for a location (I'm having trouble getting a course in South Wales for example) but it's obviously going to eat into your margin if there's no surcharge (what if someone wants a course at Glentress?).

If people like nonk are questioning the biking credentials - why not post links to (or embed) videos eg the one that was VOD on pinkbike?

Don't think anyone is questioning his credentials (just saying his webite sucks ) but embedding a decent vid on his site under an 'about us' section would be good.

Euro - From what I've read I get the impression that on the whole most people like the site, just a small proportion have said it is really bad - perhaps those people who design / like those ****y corporate sites ๐Ÿ˜† . My understanding is its only a first cut - in fact I've just checked the site again and seen a few changes have already happened.

my only gripe would be white text with a photo behind - sometimes difficult to read. looks good though.

e.g.second para - first line

The text for headings is the same for links so it is not always clear what is a link and what is a heading. I initially didn't find the prices because I had assumed that the skills headings were not links as they look the same as the page heading.

Good luck an all that!

Small serving of humble pie please?

The fonts were all over the shop on the work poota for some reason, but looking at it from home it looks better. Not a design masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination, but should do the job. (Bushwacked - how did you know I was a ****y designer ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

Love that shore Jedi. Is that home made?

I looked at the North shore film. Big up for the skills but I could not help thinking hamsters on bikes.

Every page on the web site should have the main menu on so it is easy to navigate (I got a bit lost on the Farah Niki and Scott news page.)

That looks better. One tiny gripe is under your qualifications the first one is CRB checked - I'd put that last or not mention it.

Hi Tony - had a look when you first posted up and this is looking better already! The blocky text e.g. where you show session cost is still a bit difficult to read but otherwise looks fine. I particularly like the addition of the client 'news stories' and great to see examples for the girls .. am especially loving the pics of that transition syren! I would really like to be able to ride some of that north shore stuff without the fear/ or falling off, so will save some pennies and be in touch ๐Ÿ˜€

Yes that's a huge improvement. Those first North shore pictures are better off on the pages they were designed for - not the front.

Also liking the young lass in pink, this shows it really is for everyone.
