[#6497105]

So I've recently added 6 new light reviews to my channel. Now the nights are pulling in a few might find them useful.

Let me know what you think. ๐Ÿ™‚

Welcome to the forum, Good bit of spamming.

Personally from a review I want to know burn times, and see beam shots. A few pics tacked onto the end don't really help, and not knowing the run times isn't great.

But clearly you're doing it off your own back, so well done. I just don't feel any more informed about the Solarstorm X2 than I did 5 minutes ago...!

That's a good point I'll take it on board. Most of my other reviews have run times.

Indeedy, Njee20 +1 want review of the beams, comparisons to the other units beam shape/overall output & run times. Maybe how reliable the kit is & how well the different mounts work, not interested in how pretty it is. Also surprised by your estimates, as I'm sure some-one measured the SSX2 and came out with a result of 1200lumens, so your 'guess' is hardly adding to the review. Admittedly different lamps can have different outputs, but even so.. guessing isn't a help
Also surprised by your comment that the X2 is better made than the yinding (admittedly couldn't be bothered to watch the yinding vid after the SSX2... my bad!), as my experience is the opposite, the yinding was a much better made unit (I only borrowed the yinding, and own the X2).

You're totally right I've claimed the out put but then that's because I have other lights of known outputs to directly compare it to. Like the fenix btr20 http://reviews.mtbr.com/review-fenix-btr20 I should have mentioned that in the review as well but its tough to know what to keep in and leave out. You want the video to cover the essentials and not drag to long.

The original yingding's started out as good products but recent reports from other riders shows the quality really has slipped.

If you watch my other recent reviews you'll get a better idea of the differences between the beams etc.
