Hello,
I used to ride a fair bit of the north-eastern part of the NYM as the inlaws lived up there and I could ride out of the door.
However they have now moved to Malton - which doesn't look like it has great riding locally.
We're up there over easter - I want to sneak a cheeky ride in so will probably drive up to the NYM, which leaves me with the problem of choosing where to go!
So, what great trails should I be looking at in the southern side of the NYM? Anything nicely singletracky or technical downhilly would be good. Thinking mostly round the rosedale/hutton-le-hole area - not too far west.
PS - don't fancy Dalby. Did it fairly recently and found it....well....very boring really.
Thanks!
i'd drive to somewhere in the national park, maybe lastingham. look round the general area of rosedale fryupdale ainthorpe crossleyside danby. lots of barely used sheep tracks off the main routes, will require some exploration. loads of cafes in rosedale, lion inn on blakey ridge and stonehouse bakery cafe in danby (shut on sundays) for stops.
