Hi,

I have misplaced my aging Crank Bros multitool and am going to treat myself to a new tool. Was never that enamoured of the Crank Bros as the hex keys seemed really short.

Recommendations for a new one please preferably with a chain tool built in. On the latter are they speed specific or will they work for 9 speed (MTB) and 10 speed (road bike)

Thanks

Get a The littlest Topeak one and separate chain tool.

Multitool chainbreakers are rubbish.

I've got a Topeak Mini 20 Pro and it's great. It's also my workshop spoke keys and chain breaker. The chain breaker really is quite good.

I've never had issues with the chain tools.

The only thing I'd recomend is avoid anything that uses a cap to converst a 5mm to a 7mm allen key (for example), they take about 30seconds to fall off into a muddy puddle.

Other than that all mine have worked as well as each other once you get above the cheep and nasty ones that round off.
