[#4143288]

Hoping to get a 3 -5 day mountain bike ride arranged for August, but don't seem to be able to find many resources. I have seen the booklets like the Wessex Way one, but they don't get great reviews and ideally would like to just get a gps file.

Plan is to camp along the way.

Thanks

Have you looked at routes on Bike and Bivi? Bear Bones Bikepacking too.
If you need the GPS file for any of the routes, just ask on there and someone will sort you out.

Can't you just buy/download a previous route, or follow someone on Endomondo? Good luck.

Without trying to be smart/funny, have you considered just getting out the OS maps and making up your own route? Planning routes is half the fun ๐Ÿ™‚

That is what I normally do, but have been caught out so many times where the bridleway has not been maintained and is not passable.

At least with a route that has been done before you should hopefully be aware of any of those problems before you set off.
