Just been looking around for new wheelset, when did multi coloured wheels become socially acceptable? are red spokes really cool??

Red spoked wheels are only cool in the minds of kids who haven't even taken the stabilisers off yet.

red IS cool. Green too. Blue less so. But not for spokes, only rims. Purple hubs?

Multi-coloured wheels became acceptable in April 2009, due to resume unacceptability in March 2012.

I have a choice of red, blue or gold for my red bike. might have to go for gold as I fear red would clash too much

since colour seasons/trends and the fickleness of consumers meant cheap deals available to me. Black hubs, white rims, silver spokes = 50% less than rrp, that'll do me nicely ta.

My orange Wolf Ridge has blue hubs, stem and seatclamp. Blue spokes would top it off nicely...or maybe the taste Police would be round in a jiffy.

I like blue.
