My wife has kindly volunteered me to fit mudguards to her cycling buddy's bike. Bike and mudguards dropped off at our house today, so far so good.
Immediately I can see the Giant Speedshield 'guards are too wide for the forks. If it was my bike I might take a chance and trim or hairdryer heat them up to fit, but I don't fancy doing a bodge job on someone else's bike.
So.. any suggestions for a set of mudguards that do fit a Liv Avail?

Hoping to help and maybe hoping to get some help! I got my sister some sks velo 42 for her Liv Alight….. front is fine but I had to get an adapter for the rear as drilling on seat stay bridge is 90deg to normal but it’s for a beaver tail and is to wide for the guard. I’ve found an sks velo Special adaptor but only at bike.components.de and don’t think she’s ordered it yet.
I also got her a rack but the struts to got to the seat stays are far too short as it’s a tiny frame…. I’ve seen that Bontrager Back rack disc MIK comes in a small size… anyone used one successfully on a tiny frame?
Wife's mate still has receipts etc so will take them back and get the shop to suggest something that fits. @TubsRacing I'll let you know
