[#6642882]

my commute bike of choice is my single speed genesis fyler however not generalyl using this as my crud catcher road type mudguards do not fit. They cannot be fitted under the rear brake bridge/bracket. There is just not enough clearance.

Any recommendatiosn for alternative retro fit type mudguards?

Its pretty wet out there at the minute!

I think the chap I used to see on my commute had Crud Roadracers and a quick google suggests that they fit:

I think you can buy traditional looking guards that have a flat metal linking plate that goes under the brake/bridge for better clearance.

Giant possibly?

A mate has just got one, just had a look at the picture he sent me and it looks like he's running SKS Chromoplastics. I'm pretty sure they've got long drop brakes so should have masses of clearance. What size tyres have you got on it.
