Ok, so my commuter bike is a 700c Dr Dew frame, but it has 26" wheels with 1.5 width tyres, fork is rigid 26, but seems to have a lot of space above the tyre.
So, I need wraparound mudguards that can move lower to get close to the smaller wheels and have a decent width. Any recommendations?

SKS 26" widest cromo or blumels, with a nice piece of meccano to lower the mounting from the brake bridge. The stays are cut to length during fitting (and are hard work!), but you'll just need to lower the mount for the brake bridge by minor bodging.
