Someone must make a mudguard that goes over the crown or clubs to it rather than robbing you of clearence. I like to run a conti 2.4 trail king, and with my 29mm 650b rims and pikes it has 8-10 mm clearence. As much as I love my pikes, the old fox 34's had way more clearence.
Neo guard, Marsh guard and mud hugger all rub 🙁

I presume you mean over the bridge, not the crown? The reason this won't work is that the bridge will come above the height of the crown under full compression. The only way out of this is to fit a Moto-X style mudguard.
It may only be 1 mm thick but it doesn't fit flush. The nobbles on the tyre hit it's so close.

SKS shockboard would be my shout- just as effective as big daft moto looking things, and much less big and daft. Brilliant kit. The mounting hardware's rubbish though, cable ties work better
I've been using a Speedstuff front fender similar to that THE one for years. It takes seconds to fit using a 4mm allen key and works extremely well. I don't understand all the people who won't use them saying they look stupid as I find those mudgaurds that attach to the fork brace look much worse.
The THE one looks like it would fit the bill. Will it fit a tapered steerer though. If not its the peaty one probably by the looks
I use the same thing with the same wheelsize, forks and tyres... loads of clearance!
