Any advice on how to tackle super muddy riding gear? My mrs is giving me chronic grief. Piles of mud where I undressed, mud in the wash basket, mud in the washing machine etc etc

As above. Hose it off along with the bike.

I was blamed for wrecking our last washing machine so now rinse small stuff, socks, gloves off in the sink with a few changes of water and blast shorts , longs, jackets with hose.

My own personal washing machine was fitted in our garage as part of our recently Renovated house project......11pm naked winter dashes to house after night ride are great fun....SHE SAYS !!!!

Undress outside in full view of the neighbors and give the external muddy layers a good dunk in a bucket, before hosing what's left off quickly in the shower and then chucking straight in the washing machine. To be fair, it is rocket surgery ๐Ÿ˜€
