Looking forward to the much delayed 10th Heaven of the South this weekend.
Going to be muddy though I suspect 🥳

Anyone else going?

I'll be on my Surly Krampus monster cross.

Hmmmm... today's forecast is dry, tomorrows is light rain showers, last few days have had some heavy rain. It'll be tacky in places for sure & humid. I'm having tyre dilemmas.

Yes, looking forward to it although 75km will hurt! I live locally and there was plenty of mud in the woods this morning after the recent rain.

Always is in some of the valleys!

I'm hoping 3" tyres + low pressure will get me through any clag.

My 10th one! Sun, rain, dust or mud, there's going to be hills, isotonic sports cider and the best pre-ride briefing around.

Can't wait.

Dry overnight but raining this morning in Wotton, so pretty safe to assume it's going to be muddy tomorrow. Enjoy the slop!

Was surprisingly dry, apart from a few sloppy bits.
Was happy to get round the 75km (actually 79.5) route in 5hrs 😎

Down with manflu just now so never went up, it's my local stuff and was out last week and it was running well, always areas where there's mud, no matter the time of year, but it's been more surface mud than full slop, and from the pics i've seen it looked dry and sunny for most.

A few sloppy bits to begin but after that just some surface slime. Great vibe, really well organized. I opted for 75 miles / 7500' by riding over from home. I'm broken today.

Loved it. 75 km in Just over 6 hours...but it's not a race so I don't care.

Some of the single tracks were a bit spicy with the greasy roots and the Cider climb was a tough as ever.

Great atmosphere out on the trails and back at the finish.
