Probably a numpty question, but I just got a MTE P7 torch from Dealextreme. There's no instructions or diagram indicating the polarity of the battery and I don't want to risk getting the polarity wrong and frying it.
The springy end is inside the main body of the torch (most torches have it on the cap) so that's the negative end right?
Cheers
Matt
don't think it really matters but i alway load the positive (nipple) end first (yes neg by the spring).
Positive end goes in first - mine has a little diagram on the inside.
Mine had a little diagram but it was the wrong way round!
Diagram on mine had the positive and negative ends marked correctly (positive at the end closest to the lens, negative closest to the tail cap) but did have a 'bump' shown at both ends on the diagram which is a bit confusing.
