Sorry. The administrator has banned your IP address.
Out of the blue. Not involved in controversy. No idea why.
Unless it's punishment for not turning up at the Fatbike meet...
You in trouble with the Feds?
so your wife kicks you out and now you come to your mistress for sympathy.
epicyclo the same thing happened to me on bikeradar (i didn't cause any offence to anyone e.t.c) their loss i say ๐
What puzzles me is my IP address is banned - not my username VeloBike.
Comes to the same thing though, I can't access the site, although I'm still getting the updates.
And it's the only place where I can get my daily fatbike fix. ๐
Someone else with the same ip as you're using now has been banned in the past. Try turning your modem off and on again - this should change the ip your ISP assigns you.
It's easy for mistakes to be made. I once accidentally banned an entire forum.
DO you have a smartphone? Try logging on there via 3G (or whatever network you have) and see if it works.
or just turn google web accelerator on, which will change the IP address to an american one... very handy i find.
last year when i was working in africa my "ip" was banned
probably because i was on a satelite connection and on a clear night when th diesel gennys ran out and i looked out the window i could see the bright lights of nigeria ๐

Should have thought of that myself! Just did it and it worked.
Thanks.
the perils of non-IT people deciding how to 'block' users to their sites - great if everyone worked on static IP addresses but for the majority of home users worse than useless.

Did you have trouble getting on the site and kept refreshing the page?

Know what you mean, as sole admin of a forum, I managed to ban myself a couple of weeks ago - bloody autofill.
