A turbo trainer is a turbo trainer, fits all kinds of bikes, how would you expect an MTB one to be different?

All/most turbos can accommodate a range of wheel sizes. However, you'll likely want to put a slick tyre on ๐

Right, a friend wife was asking as she wants to buy one for a present. I thought turbo trainers were just a road bike thing.

Nope, as druid says just fit a slick.

If you don't want to fit a slick, then get a Minoura RDA one as they run on the rim rather than the tyre, so don't require any tyre change.

I've just sold a Minoura one and that had a separate adaptor for 26" wheels. Just bolt it on and off you go.....

Do these work on disc brake wheels or do you have to use a rim brake one?
