Evening all

Q. I am soon to be going to South Devon (Kingsbride to be exact) and am looking for some routes any ideas? Happy to drive to Dartmoor if necessary but I'm thinking there must be some good riding around there or close vacinity?

Thanks

MTB

I (sort of) grew up down there. (Long story!)

There's not a huge amount of riding, to be honest. Get in a boat! ๐Ÿ™‚

Dartmoor is a pleasure, though.

I sort of did too but didn't do much riding back then so can't really remember. Dartmoor it is then...

harberton nr tones, then latterly slapton. I just remember riding a lot of lanes but not too much off-roading. Might try hot pursuit in tones and see if they do any organised rides.

One of my favourite parts of the world and home to my favourite UK regatta Royal Dartmouth Regatta with air displays every evening inc the Red Arrows. Walk the coastal path, take a trip on steam railway, make a river trip from Dartmouth upstreamm.

I don't know when you're moving down, but keep hold of my email (in my profile) and I'll show you a couple of routes about 8/9 miles from where you are (south Datrmoor). Give me a shout when you're ready to ride.

as is whistler.. if the OP is looking to avoid driving to Dartmoor.. the chances are that he'll probably not fancy driving past Dartmoor and then a further 45 minutes up the motorway to get to the tox.. or have I missed something..?
