Any recommendations or links to routes?
I was given a link on here to something I think called the Orton loop which I did from tebay services - just a nice easy scenic loop. IIRC it goes over towards Kirby Stephen
Might be able to find it in my posts - I'll have a look
Edit - found the thread but I was given a gps file for the route. It will take more searching to find it
Bowderdale loop is some pretty decent riding. You can start from KS or up the road in Ravenstonedale if you want to hit the loop straight away.

Pretty much all old school XC. There's a route or two in the various Dales MTB guides. I thought Pedalnorth might have some around there but it seems not.

The Howgills and some of the stuff around Tebay towards Borrowdale is good, but it will be a slog in parts after all this rain.
