After recently moving to the area i am struggling to find cycling routes around east Bristol close to Keynsham. I have been on Bikely and there are only a couple.

Does anyone have any tips or routes they could give me to show me the good bits instead of following an os map?

Alternatively are there any local groups heading out from this area for an evening weekday ride that wouldnt mind me tagging along?

A couple sounds about right. There are some nice bridleways and a little bit of woods to play in around Landsdown and the golf course but most of the better riding is the far side of Bath or the far side of Bristol.

If Bristol isn't too far, there is always The Cheesy Riders. A very pleasent bunch of chaps and chapessess.

Ride tonight at Ashton Court but we do a fair bit of stuff.

This was asked fairly recently. Have a search for AnalogueAndy on here - he posted a few in that area.

closest riding to Keynsham is over the river towards Swinford and up to Lansdown

seems to get asked once every few months so take a search in the forum

Someone called ๐Ÿ™‚

There is a group that rides out of Keynsham but you don't want to ride with them (allegedly) ๐Ÿ˜‰

As llama said there's plenty on the hills around Lansdown or also within reach are the trails around Newton St Loe, Inglesbatch, Englishcombe.

Someone posted recently looking for downhill / freeride stuff specifically.

If you're more after XC then we ride out of Bath every Wed night (6.30 Widcombe) and could head over that way..
