Anyone got any good recommendations for kids' MTB pedals? Bought the lad a set of Wellgo V8 copies but on second thoughts the pins look deadly and they weigh ton so they're going back. I want something smaller, lighter and with enough grip to stop his feet slipping - but not so much that they'll rip him open if they do.

Just discovered my eldest fits on my hardtail, so also looking for some "grippy but not shin rippy" pedal ideas.

Mine have the plastic Wellgo copies from Rosebikes.

Depends how old I guess. My 12 YO is on Nukeproof electron. Little one on Wellgo KC001.

Highly recommend the wellgo.
