[#2258655]

The recent thread about "where mountain biking is going" has reminded me to finally post these photos from an excursion of ours in the High-Tarentaise this Summer. Almost 4000m vertical of descent off one uplift, one summit push, and a moderate amount of pedalling.

All photos are by the very talented Greg Germain.

Thanks for posting this. Best pictures on here since Freeridenick's.

Particularly like this one for some reason...

Switchback pic is great too, looks like Picadilly Circus up there!

Great pics.

I see there's only 4 in the last pic, did you lose one over the edge on the way down ? ๐Ÿ™‚

Truly amazing stuff Ash. Were there any old men in remote challets with hot chocolate and copious amounts of salami?

Terrific!

Also pleased to see open faced helmets and minimal body armour.

Fan-euro-tastic!

Did the Bionicon survive?

(Mine broke in Tignes)

Looks like you made an early start?

Yes, we left the "shuttle vehicle" at 6:30-ish.
