Hi,

Has anyone been on a MTB holiday in Austria before?

Was looking at this website for late Sept/early Oct - http://www.upanddownhill.com/mountain_bike_holiday/default.htm

Has anyone used this company before or is there anyone else good that provides accommodation, transfers and guided riding in this area?

Ta,

Hi,

Has anyone been on a MTB holiday in Austria before?

Yes, I stayed with Diz, when she ran Over The Edge out of Kaprun.

Best weeks riding I've ever done.

Sadly, she folded the company up.

And sorry, no experience of the guys you are talking about..

Rob at Mountain Edge is a mate of mine. Some lovely riding round there.

Kitz is quite pricy though, so go easy on the beer!

Wherever you end up, check the lifts are still open.
For instance a few of the Saalbach/Hinterglemm lifts close end of Sept and Leogang switches to 5 from 7 days start Oct, closes fully after Oct half term.
If you want lift assisted bikepark stuff then the above is a good area, Elements at Leogang also do guiding on Singletrack and "secret" local trails.
