I am a British Cycling coach based in the south east and looking for riders for a 12 week training programme for my level three MTB coaching qualification.
I am able to offer technical skills help and a weekly training programme to suit the individual riders depending on what you need. I will need to meet up with you at least twice over that time period, firstly to do a profile on you and your needs and of course to meet you personally; after that I would like to meet up to assess your progress. Ideally I am looking for riders who are planning on racing or entering an event this year (or next) so that we can set goals to work towards. I do need feedback from you during the programme, for example, how you are feeling, how much sleep, heart rate, weight, etc. I am happy to follow your riding on Strava or Garmin. At the end of the 12 week programme you are more than welcome to continue to be coached by me but we can discuss that nearer the time. I will of course leave you with future tips and ideas for progressing on regardless.
I am currently a level 2 MTB and Road/TT coach and have completed the core and MTB training modules for my Level 3. However I need to complete my portfolio of experience and hence need riders to work with. I will not charge for this coaching - all I ask is that you give me feedback on what training I prescribe for you and take a small amount of time to complete some paperwork (it's not too much).
The minimum age for this training programme is 16, no maximum. Male or female riders. I have experience of coaching all ages and abilities. You don't have to be an expert rider, nor do you have to be considering a big race - I am happy to coach riders who are planning on doing a Trail Break or similar. I am happy to travel to anywhere in Kent or bordering areas.
Please send me a PM if you are interested
Thanks! Annie
