Me and a group of mates are organising the 2nd MTB in Litton. Last years was great, despite the weather! All the money raised goes towards the upkeep of our community village hall. Hope to see some of you there. 🙂

Did the route yesterday in the lovely Sunshine that came out to see us. A much different day today though...........drizzzzzzzzzle.

Competitors t-shirts have been ordered by our web designer today. They look great.

There is still time to book online if anyone fancies a day in The Dales. There are a few spaces reserved for on the day bookings too, but you might want to email to let the team know you are interested.

Littondale is a truly lovely part of the country - some big hills though! I can't make it myself but I would encourage anyone who can to get themselves there.

Thankyou, it is a lovely part of the country. Shame you can't make it.

The whole ride takes in 360° views of Pen-y-ghent. Stunning.

Hi ya,

I measured it at 22.8 miles yesterday. Arncliffe - Litton - Pen-y-ghent- Helwith Bridge - Horton in Ribblesdale - Foxup - Litton - Arncliffe. (All off road apart from Arncliffe to Litton [2miles] & Foxup - Arnlciffe [3 miles] My favourite part was the down in Helwith Bridge from Pen-y-ghent, then the fast end into Foxup.

(There are escape options)

Changed the bearings on my bottom bracket last night (starting at 6:30pm!) after work then decided to do Penyghent and much of the course, you may recognise some of the pics. Still very dry, very fast and a superb evening ride. Didnt see a single person or a single car all of the time and got back home at 9:45pm.

Let us know if you need any route guidance, the area is blessed with a lot of choice for big days out as well as easier rides too.
