[Closed] MT520 caliper with XT M785 levers?

I’ve done it, seems to work fine.

Edit. The end fitting is different on the XT calliper, you’d need to replace the banjo with an olive and insert.

I know of a couple of people that have done it. I've got MT520's (MT501 levers) on my HT, was planning on buying a set of Deore M6000's I think for another bike and then swapping the rear MT520 caliper onto the front brake of the Deores, so I have a 4pot front and 2 pot rear on both bikes, as I prefer to have a much less powerful rear brake than the front.

Obviously officially nope but never had a problem the other way and using a BH90 olive and barb on the DH59 hose in levers... its 0.2mm difference ID so in reverse that's putting a BH59 barb into a hose 0.2mm bigger...
