Anyone got or ridden one of these?
Thoughts? Flexy or super stiff?
Reasonable UK mud clearance? Super fiddly internal cable routing?
140mm the max forks length?
Thanks.

I've ridden one, it was great. Suspension was nice out back, flex wasn't an issue but it wasn't uber stiff that it hurt etc. Can't say anything on mud clearance etc as i rode it for the day then gave it back to the Team mechanic, didn't really check those things out.

Only really done the carpark test on one, seemed dead stiff, no rear-triangle deflection when pushing foot against side of BB.

Mud clearance is pretty good, could get fingers past a 2.4 Advantage FR (I think that's what it was).

Internal routing is the same as my Koncept, done using either a full run of outer through a tube, or with stops and a similar internal tube. Basically there's no way routing can go wrong.

140mm is what comes on them, I suspect it would go bigger.

I know of one in the Tweed valley, a phone call to I-Cycles in Inners would probably bag you a look-see. The 2010 one looks amazing (as does the ally one):

Hope that's some help.

(Disclosure - I ride for MSC)

I ride for the MSC UK XC team and I love my bike. I've ridden a Carbon Zion from 2008 (I think) and it was pretty cool. I haven't ridden it for any real length of time but it was (he's sold it now) my team managers choice of bike.

Floki
If your interested in a test ride get in touch, we now have a demo bike, medium with fox float 36's up front, great fun to blast at the trail centres, with the RP23 out back you just flick the pro pedal lever when it starts going up and it nearly locks it all up, then flick accross for the descents and its fully active again. Real fun bike and makes and old unfit dher, like myself, look quite fit at the trails
