[#1772010]

Just bought a netbook (XP) and am trying to enter the product key - but it keeps saying ive entered it incorrectly. I've checked it over and over, and its I've entered it correctly. Any clues before I resign myself to being a complete Joey?

Check your NumLock is off, although it shouldn't be that as you can see the charachters as you type...

Are you entering the key for the correct product?

Are you using the XP key to try and register Office - or similar?

i have legit 07 office with disk and box and code - its a 3 computer licence - says so on the tin ...

i have in installed on my computer and my girlfriends computer -tried to install it on my dads computer so i can use his desktop for work while im home. No dice - please check product key.

removed his office 2007 trial that came with acer software and installed office from the disk - it all worked well.

i suggest trying to use your key to download new software from the microsofts netbooks page and installing using that !
