Weather, as you've never seen it before
OOh - that's nice!
The website is held in such high regard, it has been the subject of a legal battle between the F1 teams and another weather reporting agency, which had an exclusive contract with the teams. Essentially, the F1 teams were using yr.no instead, because it is miles better.
That is fantastic
Metcheck or xcweather has always accurate for me ๐
I've been using it for a while. The website is more reliable than Metcheck, but the weather predictions aren't particularly accurate. I've been stood in the pooring rain in bristol whilst yr.no said it should be sunny on a couple of occasions, whereas both metcheck and TheWeatherChannel predicted rain. I'll generally consult all three.
The premium service on http://www.raintoday.co.uk/ is very good for short-term forecasts. Especially good for mobile internet.
It predicts a thaw a week on Saturday !!!
Been using it for ages. Accurate enough that you'd think most other met. services were run by monkeys.

Usually for me too, apart from a couple of occassions when they reported 400mph winds.
Is it only me that can't see anything special there?

It really depends on what you mean by "special".
IMO the website functions well (speed, ease of navigation, localisation etc), and also has some nice features like the "Meteogram".
Have you had a hard week?
No. Had a pretty easy week. Still not seeing anything that makes that site any better than any other weather site though. my preference is for www.wunderground.com
metcheck always seems accruate for me, appart form the occasional 400+mph wind and the website crashing some days.
Its warmer in frickin' Tromso than it is in Reading WTF!

Thanks, nice to have a paedophile free option.
We'll call that an incidental benefit!
Just shows how much good simple presentation is worth.
The Norwegian Met service get their UK (and some European) data from the Met Office but then present it in a much simpler uncluttered way.
I've been using it for yrs ๐
and by the way 'yr' means randy in Norwegian (as well as a sort of drizzly mist)
