Mounting bolts for Aztec flat mount adapter connundrum

[#12458033]

Just purchased an Aztec post mount caliper to fork flatmount adapter, but doesn't come with the bolts you need to fasten it to the frame. Neither did the frame. The problem is they need to be an M5 bolt with a weirdly small head to be able to fit in the adapter- none of my M5 bolts fit, the heads are all too large. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a solution?

Not very helpful, but I’ve just fitted a shimano flat mount adapter. That came complete with the weird bolts.

Did they have weirdly small heads?

If you can give us some measurements to go on, I may be able to do something on the lathe for you.

That's an incredibly kind offer! I'll try to find a way to measure the diameter of the hole the heads of the bolts need to fit in to

Sorry, my mistake - the weird bolts supplied with the adaptor were for attaching the calliper to the adaptor, not adaptor to frame.
I can measure the frame mounting bolts if you like. They’re weird too - like this:

I've actually just bought the frame new. Would these bolts normally be included with the frame? Sourcing them is turning out to be a right PITA
