I ran X Kings last year on a previous bike......nice and light and fast, but a bit fragile, and lacking in grip at times. I have just built up a Soul with Rebas and wondered about Mountain King2 2.2? Anyone with any experience?
Mk 2 better than the original. Good for all round riding, jack of all trades. I run mine ghetto and did manage to rip one but it repaired well and has been trouble free since.
I'd get more when these wear out.
2.2 is a relatively skinny 2.2 as all Conti tyres seem to be. 2.4 fills up my revelations though leaving little mud room.
They work great on On ones, but rubbish on cotics, sorry.
Middling on carbons too.
These rules hold for any terrain and riding style of course.
I've been running one on the front of my soul, ghetto. No worries, would buy another.
