Anybody any experiences, knowledge, etc, especially with regards to acceptance of the MTB TL and TTL Coach awards within the outdoor industry? Another unit is hosting a course and I'm looking at getting on the TTL level one, already being SMBLA TCL, just want to do the usual bit of research first... Ta.

have you tried cyclewise in cumbria?

i did the TCL course a few years ago and it was excellent. i'm presuming that the MBL course would be of a similar vein. the course instructors are really good too.

Whole point is I can get this free as it's being organised by work but I want to check up first as the bloke whos put it all together isnt a mountain biker and hasn't mentioned to me when he wa organising it, so it's this course or nothing...

Jules Fincher, Cyclewild, Aviemore. A more enthusiastic and passionate bike coach I doubt you will ever meet. Top bloke, top courses.

davetrave - email me (website in profile) and I can send you some useful info.

Short version - courses/scheme is legit and has been around longer than any of the other schemes. Seems to be more coaching-orientated than "leading" orientated. Depends what you want to do with it.
