there was a post on here with an ebay link to some motorbike hand warmers / protectors a couple of days ago - now I my hands are cold enough to buy these, can anyone remind me of the link?

Can't help with a link but, if you're referring to those oversize gloves that fit around you brake levers, then they are called 'pogies'
Google them, now you know what they are.

I got gf breezeblockers 'storm' model (she's not that confident/experienced and didn't want muffs/pogies, even a pit pissed with the BB storm as it slightly interferes with her hand (can't bring it on the side). (see dennis winters/ebay) - I got them for about £10). Fitting(o ring to bars, plastic expander in bar end - easy, a thin curved plastic deflector - for the money no complaints atall - the storm only really offer frontal protection others are available)

Got pogies off ebay for me - not yet tried but I've used motorbike handle bar muffs a lot so they should be fine. (bloke was selling them best offer )
