This is shocking, particularly some of the comments on the page the video originated from.

Thats at least 3 times this has been posted. Perhaps do a search and you can avoid this next time?
I think the motorcyclist swerved to avoid an antelope that had been chased onto the road by a dog.
Groundhog day.
The third time you say. Sorry about that.
I hadn't seen that before, so thanks for posting russianbob...
I still can't make sense of that, how did he manage not to avoid them?... he wasn't even going that fast
I was going to look at the original site but its blocked from work for being offensive - I had no idea the work firewall was so advanced.
Don't worry about it Bob ,at least you didn't post a 'what tyre' or 'should I buy a CX bike' thread
I have watched that 3 times,I saw no groundhog or cantilope .
cantilope
there was a melon in the road?
No,I think it was an evil melon that was filming it.
blind melon jefferson, the not so famous blues singer/bike accident filmer?
Well I haven't seen this before.
I just don't understand the video and people's comments. Seriously WTF!
Hadn't seen that either. Looked purposeful to my untrained eye. The comments on the adventureland blog posted above suggest that the road is notorious (though for what wasn't clear to me) and that people regularly film traffic incidents there. What ever the rights or wrongs, something is very wrong there.
People's comments are astonishing when it comes to such incidents. How often do you here people say of a car crash victim "Oh, they were in the wrong place they shouldn't have been driving down the road"? If the bloke was cycling along a railway line I could understand such comments.
First time for me too, bizarre stuff!
it's a collegue's brother that was knocked off, so i have heard (almost) first hand exactly what happened
I could ellaborate but it's not in the spirit of internet forums to deal in facts ๐
